About Us
Fall Protection Systems That Keep Your Workers Safe and Your Roof Warranty Intact
Dakota Safety designs and delivers OSHA-compliant non-penetrating guardrails, safety gates, and anti-slip matting for industrial facilities across North America. No roof penetrations. No warranty voidance. No compromises.
Our Philosophy: Eliminate the Hazard, Don't Just Manage It
Most safety companies sell you PPE — harnesses, lanyards, anchor points — and call it a solution. That's the bottom of NIOSH's Hierarchy of Hazard Controls. We operate at the top: engineering controls that physically remove the fall hazard before a worker ever clips in.
Non-penetrating guardrail systems create a permanent barrier between your people and the edge. No daily inspection. No training required. No human error. The hazard is simply gone.

"Dakota Safety solved our rooftop fall protection challenge without a single roof penetration. The system was installed in a day, required zero training for our maintenance team, and kept our roof warranty fully intact."— Facility Safety Manager, Fortune 500 Food Processor

Andrew brings 40+ years of construction industry expertise to every project. A 35-year member of the Construction Specifications Institute and published author in CSI's The Construction Specifier, he built Dakota Safety on a simple premise: the best fall protection system is one that eliminates the hazard entirely.
Before launching Dakota Safety, Andrew spent decades in construction product marketing — learning what architects, specifiers, and facility managers actually need versus what manufacturers want to sell them. That perspective drives everything we do: practical solutions, honest guidance, and systems that work in the real world, not just on paper.
Andrew is also SuperHuman AI Certified, applying artificial intelligence tools to deliver faster project turnaround and more responsive service to Dakota Safety's clients.
