Self-closing pallet gate for open mezzanine edges
Move a pallet of material through this self-closing pair of gates with a forklift, then back away. The Pallet Safety Gate closes against the load and continues guarding the mezzanine edge until the pallet is removed. When the opening is not in use, the closed gate acts as a safety railing that remains in place to help protect employees from falls.
How it works
A forklift pushes the paired gate leaves inward and places the pallet at the mezzanine opening. As the forklift backs away, the leaves close against the material. After the pallet is removed, the leaves return to the closed position and guard the open edge.
