How SafetyRail 2000 Works

Rail sections are constructed of 1-5/8" steel tubing and secure into heavy cast iron bases with four receiver ports. The four-port base design supports straight runs, corners, returns, and other project-specific configurations.

Run geometry matters. Returns or outriggers at run ends contribute to the stability of the completed layout and must be included as required by the reviewed configuration.

Ordering Note: Standard rail kits include one base, one locking pin, and one rail section. The complete run may require an additional base, returns or outriggers, gates, pads, and other accessories.

The published product information calls for outriggers or returns at the beginning and end of each danger-side run for the described non-penetrating layout. This applies whether the protected run is short or long.

Outriggers are rail kits connected at approximately 90° to the danger-side run. They contribute to system stability at run ends. Confirm the exact completed configuration for the project.
