Self-Closing Mezzanine Safety Gate for Upper-Level Door Openings
The Mezzanine Door Gate secures openings on upper or mezzanine levels where a standard operating door, single door, double door, or roll-up door is used to move supplies, support production, access storage, or provide ventilation.
Each gate is custom fabricated to the specific opening. Although hollow metal doors are often standard sizes, the clear opening must be measured before fabrication using the Mezzanine Door Gate measuring guide.

How the Mezzanine Door Gate Works
The Mezzanine Door Gate is installed at an upper-level or mezzanine door opening to help secure the exposed leading edge when the operating door is open. Material can be passed through the gate doors, and the gate doors self-close after the material has been moved through.
This style of gate is used where a mezzanine opening must remain functional for material movement, storage access, production support, ventilation, or other operational needs while still providing passive fall protection at the opening.
Anchorage note: Due to the variety of installations, no anchors or mounting hardware are included with the gate system, and no anchor or mounting holes are provided in the frame. Design of anchorage and verification of the existing structure’s ability to withstand all loads transferred by the gate is by others.
